Download the Latest Build
Use the latest release download for the current DMG installer: Download Veil.dmg.
First-Time Setup
- Install Veil and move it to Applications.
- Grant Accessibility permission when macOS asks.
- Open the app you want to keep visible.
- Choose that app as your Cover App.
- Toggle Veil before sharing or recording your screen.
Common Fixes
- If Veil cannot follow the active app, recheck Accessibility permission in macOS Settings.
- If every display feels locked to one app, clear the Cover App or review Per Screen vs Global mode.
- If you need a quick full-desktop reveal, use Peek instead of fully disabling protection.
