1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Veil for Mac ("Veil," "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. License
Veil is licensed, not sold. Upon purchase, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable lifetime license to use Veil on one (1) Mac computer. This license is for personal or professional use and does not include the right to redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software.
The free trial provides full functionality for a limited period. After the trial ends, a license purchase is required for continued use.
3. Pricing and Payment
Veil is offered as a one-time purchase of $7.90 USD for a lifetime license covering one Mac. Payments are processed through Creem, our third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you also agree to Creem's terms and policies.
4. Refunds
If you experience issues with your purchase or the App does not work as expected, please contact support at maomao000211@gmail.com. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. We encourage you to use the free trial before purchasing to ensure Veil meets your needs.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Veil only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App
- Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the App
- Use the App to violate any applicable laws or regulations
6. Intellectual Property
Veil, including its code, design, graphics, and documentation, is owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. Your license does not grant you any ownership rights to the App or its content.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Veil is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Veil is a visual privacy overlay and does not replace security controls, access management, or careful handling of sensitive information.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the App
- Any unauthorized access to or use of your data
- Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the App
- Any content or conduct of any third party
9. Updates and Changes
We may update Veil from time to time to improve functionality or fix issues. We may also update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete any copies.
