How to Use Veil with Stage Manager on macOS

What Changed in Veil v1.0.5

Veil now detects Stage Manager and excludes its side thumbnail strip from overlay dimming. Your active workspace still gets full privacy behavior.

Recommended Setup

1. Turn on Stage Manager in macOS settings.
2. Open Veil and choose your Cover App.
3. In Veil Rules, select your multi-screen mode.
4. Enable Veil before sharing your screen or switching tasks.

• Stage Manager side strip stays visible and usable.

When to Use Per Screen vs Global

Use Per Screen when each monitor has a different task. Use Global when one focus app should control all displays.
